VICE is back! This year sees the glorious return of VICE magazine to print after an absence of six years, marking a new golden era of weird and wonderful reportage in a totally messed-up world.

A 184-page Vice special on the images shaping the present moment and the ones quietly distorting it. The centrepiece is a 5,000-word exchange between documentarian Adam Curtis and art critic Dean Kissick on the future of more or less everything; alongside it, Clive Martin spends a weekend in Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens reporting on what has become a frontline of the culture-war street politics.

Elsewhere: South African car raves, the VICE Propaganda Report 2026, Andrew Miksys' portraits of Lithuania's Roma youth, Ivar Wigan and Benjamin Ackermann's 20-page photo essay, and writing from Bertie Brandes, Gabriel Smith and Günseli Yalcinkaya. Vice retains the irreverence it has always had, but the editorial assignments have got more interesting since the magazine's relaunch.
