Interview Issue 565 – Zendaya & Robert Pattinson
Launched in 1969 by Andy Warhol, the magazine, nicknamed ‘The Crystal Ball of Pop’, features interviews with celebrities, artists, musicians, and creative thinkers. Its trademark is the celebrity-interviews-celebrity Q&A, matched with brilliant photography, and in embracing this format the current creative team have taken it right back to it roots as an Instagramzine.
This March 2026 issue leads with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, captured by renowned silver screen photographer Nadia Lee Cohen; inside, the three-time collaborators sit down to discuss their upcoming movie ‘The Drama’, in the first interview ahead of its April premiere. In lieu of a traditional editor’s letter Mel gossips about ghosts with the Van Patten sisters, who shot to fame following their respective roles in 2021’s much-anticipated ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot (Anna), Disney+ hit drama ‘Tell Me Lies’ (Grace), and the bingeable mini-series ‘The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox’ (both). It’s a particularly strong issue: from there, you’ll find conversations with the likes of Aidan Zamiri, the first-time director catapulting to fame with new Charli XCX mockumentary ‘The Moment’; Paris Hilton, transcendent noughties reality star turned Interview agony aunt; and ‘Mad Men’ child star Kiernan Shipka, who speaks to Jean Smart about staying balanced and playing against type.
And that’s just the first half of the issue… elsewhere, Chloé Zhao speaks with Bradley Cooper, Hilary Duff is interviewed by Dakota Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg sits down with Jeremy O. Harris, and last but—by no stretch of the imagination—least, polemical director of the moment Emerald Fennell chats with fellow maximalist Baz Luhrmann.
