Elska is a bi-monthly photography and culture publication dedicated to sharing the bodies and voices of gay communities all over the world. Each issue is made in a different city where readers get to know to several local gay guys through honest photography and personal storytelling. One article described Elska as "part intellectual queer pin-up mag and part sexy anthropology journal", and another as "probably the nicest, most sincere magazine ever". We quite like that!

About Elska Mexico City (Mexico):

This fifty-third book in the Elska series has been made in Mexico City, the vibrant capital of one of the world's most colourful countries. This is a city that our readers have been demanding for a very long time, creating high expectations that have genuinely been achieved across the board. The local gays were diverse, characterful and often quite eccentric as well. Their enthusiasm and open-mindedness also led to this becoming only the second Elska issue in history where every single one of the participants opted to bare all. And that's reason enough to make this an essential issue for every queer print enthusiast!

Inside Elska Mexico City, writer and photographer Liam Campbell introduces the city through encounters with several of its local gay men. There are two key components to the Elska experience: photography and story. For the photographic portion, Liam shares honest and intimate images of the men he met here. They were photographed in their city streets, dressed in their own style, and also photographed at home, not dressed at all. For the story portion, Liam shares a narrative derived from extensive diaries kept during his visit to CDMX. This includes details of moments shared with these men, conversations they had and a little bit of daydreaming inspired by them.
