In the latest edition, the timeless bond between drawing and the natural world takes center stage. This issue brings together artists from six continents who capture nature from different perspectives. It features conversations on queer ecology, stories of pioneering female botanists, and reflections on how drawing can deepen the connection to the environment.

Personal memories tied to nature are shared alongside discussions on the urgent need to preserve the planet's diverse ecosystems. From the forests of the Amazon to prairies and landscapes shaped by wind and fire, this issue invites readers to reconnect with the beauty and significance of the world around them.

What is FUKT?
FUKT is a magazine for contemporary drawing. It comes without ads, beautifully designed with a focus on the visual, with occasional interviews with interesting artists and essays by engaging authors. The design and format are changing for each issue.

Founded in 1999 by artist Björn Hegardt, FUKT, which translates to “moist” or “damp” in Norwegian and Swedish, is a Berlin-based annual magazine for contemporary drawing. Each issue comes with a unique cover by Ariane Spanier who also co-edits and designs the magazine. From issue 16 onwards, the FUKT team began organising each edition thematically: from The Sex Issue on Dirty Drawings to The Words Issue and Fukt The System Issue.
