The Identity Issue is a global celebration of queer community, visibility, creativity, and resilience. Across 240 pages, it features powerful voices from actors, musicians, artists, and changemakers around the world – exploring identity in its rawest, most honest form. In a time when queer people are being targeted, censored, and erased, this issue is a loud and proud declaration: we’ve always been here – and we’re not going anywhere.

Through intimate photography and fearless storytelling, the issue reflects Container Love’s mission: to show the world through a queer lens of love, empowerment, and pride. Featuring work by photographers: Agustin Farias, Ben Lamberty, Robin Kater, Ivar Wigan, Julien Barbès, Kitty Lee Schumacher, Kento Nagayoshi, Matt Hickmott, Nikos Karpouzis, Patrick Houi, Sam Ramirez, Slava Mogutin, Tavinho Costa. And queer identities and strong allies including: Anna Rommel, Cleo Droomer, Iván Pellicer, Joel Harper-Jackson, Ellen Allien, Tayce, Lamin Leroy Gibba, FAYIM, Sadiq Desh, Ryan Robichaux, and many more.

Container Love’s mission is to show the world through a queer lens and share the stories of love, healing, empowerment, and overcoming adversity. We tell stories that inspire and make us embrace queer pride and live out loud and unapologetically. Through our platform, we’ve met people who changed our worlds and inspired us with their art, their lives, and the ways they treat others around them. This first printed issue is our way of saying thank you and celebrating all and everyone who made this first decade of Container Love possible.

To love free from discrimination should be a given in this day and age, but we live in a world where every single step toward LGBTQIA+ rights is questioned and threatened. The Visibility Issue is about community, but it’s also a statement on its own as well as a reminder: we have always been here and we are not going anywhere. We are here to celebrate diversity and visibility of all identities the way it is meant to be: bold, unfiltered, and uncorrupted.
