Deepfakes warp our sense of reality. Algorithms curate our desires, distort our truths, stoke division, and send us spiralling into ragebait rabbit holes. Emotions are heightened, overstimulated, optimised for engagement. Do we laugh? Do we cry? Or do we just keep scrolling?

Through the noise, humour has always emerged not as escapism, but as a knife. A secret weapon. Perhaps the last honest language we have left.
