X Jahre Kunst in Hamburg

As the translated title ’X years of art in Hamburg’ suggests, the exhibition format is meant to celebrate Hamburg’s galleries in all their diversity and serves as a home-grown alternative to the internationally focussed »Affordable Art Fair.« The emphasis on the local gallery scene provides visitors not only with different perspectives on contemporary art but also an opportunity for dialogue with key figures in Hamburg’s art scene. The networking-nature of the exhibition facilitates a joint getting-to-know in a relaxed setting: art aficionados, collectors and patrons of culture in conversation with artists and gallerists.

This year’s line-up of participating galleries includes Feinkunst Krüger, Galerie Kai Erdmann, heliumcowboy, Galerie Oel-Früh, xpon-art, Oberfett, Evelyn Drewes Galerie, Gudberg Nerger Gallery as well as Affenfaust Galerie that jointly represent “116 years of art in Hamburg.“

We will join with works by Jill Tegan Doherty, Timo von Eicken, Svenja Maaß, Stefan Mosebach and Sebastian Menzke.
