»Wermut« is a publication documenting a visual approach to the happenings on the 26th of April 1986 in Chernobyl and its consequences. Lies, denial and misinformation by politicians those responsible alike make it nearly impossible to form a personal sentiment. Other than the empirical approach, a subjective, emotional examination is not dependent on statistics. therefore this publication is divided into two approaches, to complement, contradict or coalesce. Documentation & Interpretation: While the documentation is a formal approach, showing the actual situation and gathering information, the interpretation offers a subjective, personal access, through the context in Pop Culture, illustration and typography.
