Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH has commissioned us to re-position the brands HMC (Hamburg Messe + Congress) and CCH (Congress Centrum Hamburg) in order to visibly strengthen the tie between the two brands as part of an umbrella branding strategy. The first phase of development entailed brand positioning and the definition of a mission statement, corporate guiding principles, as well as the brand architecture. The second phase saw the development of the corporate design of the umbrella and sub brands, which was in turn applied to all media and formats. The third phase ultimately resulted in the development and production of a communication campaign including its roll-out.
