Purple Magazine Issue 44 – Analog
For over 30 years, PURPLE has maintained a significant presence in Tokyo, yet it has never dedicated an entire issue to Japan. The forthcoming Spring/Summer 2025 edition will serve as an ode to Japan, highlighting its contemporary culture as a powerful source of radical inspiration in the modern world. This issue will eschew all forms of Japonism, as well as any touristic or nostalgic fascination with the country. Instead, it will present an avant-garde, innovative, and decidedly contemporary perspective on Japan and its far-reaching influence.
Founded in Paris in 1992, PURPLE has been the avant-garde reference for fashion and style on the biannual fashion magazine market for more than 30 years.
